Council Officers from Brentwood Borough Council and Rochford District Council are walking the Three Peaks Challenge as #OneTeam. The walk is 24 miles (38.6km) including 1585m (5200ft) of ascent in the North of England. The mountains of Whernside, Ingleborough and Pen-y-ghent are collectively known as the Three Peaks. They form part of the Pennine range and encircle the head of the valley of River Ribble in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
The team aims to complete the walk within 12 hours on Friday 9 September 2022.
We are hoping to raise £10,000, and the money raised will be split across the following charities:

- Parkinson’s UK
- Hopefield Animal Sanctuary
- Saint Francis Hospice
- Trust Links
- Achievement Through Football
