The Residents' Discount Parking Card entitles Brentwood Borough Council Tax payers to a £0.60 discount when they park for 2 hours at the following car parks:
- Chatham Way
- William Hunter Way
- Town Hall
- Friars Avenue
- Hunter Avenue
How to apply for a discount card
Please note that applications are limited to one card per household only and you will be requested to enter your current Council Tax reference number. This can be found on your annual Council Tax bill.

The card will be posted to you within 7 days of receipt of the application form.
How to use the discount card
At the Pay & Display machine:
- Press the yellow discount button
- Insert £1.40
- Take the Pay & Display ticket
- Display the ticket with your discount card on the dashboard of your vehicle.
How to order a replacement card
Please note there is a £10.00 fee for the replacement of a Resident Discount Parking Card. You will be asked to provide online payment when completing the form. To apply for your replacement card, please complete our online form below.
The card will be posted to you within 7 days of receipt of the application form.
